ENERGY HEALING
Reiki, Hypnotherapy, IET®

Edith Griffin, Certified Reiki Master
Owner and co-founder, Karendyth Holistic Center

Edith Griffin, Certified Reiki Master, received her Usui Reiki training at the Dovestar Institute in Hooksett, New Hampshire. She had first become aware of her strong ability to channel healing energy in 1996, when she unexpectedly and spontaneously began to experience waves of energy passing through her hands during a women's healing circle. In her professional work, she assists clients in releasing stuck energy, helps them connect to their own innate ability to heal themselves, and supports them in opening to the powerful healing energy that flows to us from the source of eternal light. In the last few years, Edith's energy channeling has expanded to include a kind of mystical "log rolling." She lies face down in water (in a swimming pool or pond, for example) holding her breath but very relaxed, and her body begins to turn gently in the water, first rocking back and forth and then actually spinning slowly round and round, engendering feelings of cosmic joy.

Edith is a graduate of Swarthmore College and has been a free-lance editor for over 25 years. She is a graduate of the Women's Spirituality Program formerly offered at Interface in Cambridge, MA, and is on the administrative council of the Women's Well, a nonprofit organization offering courses for women, in Concord, MA. She can be reached at edithreikimaster@aol.com. She is deeply grateful for her profound experiences of the sacred and for the opportunity to bring healing energy to others through her Reiki practice.
